Clearing up and out!

I've had a weekend to myself and have I motivated myself too!!

I have had one of the most ruthless clearouts!!  Clothes, shoes, boots and loads of other crap,, that I've kept,,,,,,just incase,,, one day,,,,,,,,some of the stuff I haven't worn in nearly 10years!!!  That one day has been and gone. 

  I took it all straight to the dump and got rid of it all........I feel cleansed!!

I have also put alot on ebay to sell.  I am hoping that this all goes and the money I raise can go to something nice,, like the up and coming weekend I've got with my girl!!

Its been a good, busy day.

I am now just sorting out some work things, cooking a roast and thinking about ligthing the fire,,,,,its been such an awful bank holiday.  It feels like October, not the end of August.

Catching up,,,

      For about 2 years now, myself and a great friend have been trying to organise a night out.  One reason it took so long was down to her drinking,,,,,no 'off button'.  So nights could become hard work with her as she drank more and I ended up not drinking and looking after her.  Well,, she now doesn't drink.
We went out last night.  We had the best time!! We went and ate Tapas and chatted soooooooooooooooooooo much first.  Then we went onto the pub/club area and had a great time.  Funny thing was the amount of attention we got.  It was good to have a night out not drinking.  People watching is the funniest when you're sober!! 
   I am truely so proud and happy for my friend that she is now not drinking.  It's been a hard path for her to do,, but she's doing so well.  I told her last night that I had missed her and loved having my old friend back.  She then opened up to me and told me how lucky she felt having me as a true friend, that I had been there through so bad times,, been honest with her at all times etc.  Was quite an emotional time,, so we had big hugs too. 
  We are planning another sober night,,, this time in fancy dress!!!   Bring it on!!!

Salon costing

Well,,,I phoned a guy yesterday that owns alot of properties in the town where I work.  He has a shop thats coming up soon he tells me,,,,,,nice location,,,,etc..  Oh great and how much is the rent for that please?..........................£17.000 a year!! without the business rates, counsil tax, insurance, heating, water,,,,,looks like I'm staying put for awhile!!!

I booked my self in for a hair do to cheer myself up!!  I was due to go in a couple of weeks,,,but as I've taken saturday off as its the local village ram roast, I thought I would have it done saturday instead.  I am not really fussed about going the to village do this year,,,,,,just really done with living here.  So a spot of shopping and a new 'do' will make the day fun!!!
